Mel is a small, abbreviated cou clair buck. He is a powerful buck, but is still stylish and correct. I am super pleased with him. His line has proven itself to be very strong in mammary system genetics, particularly in shape, texture, and teat placement. That line is also very strong in front end assemblies, offering tight elbows, tight shoulders, and excellent feet and legs. Mel himself is not as angular in his rear leg set as I'd like, but he does
throw nice angulation in his kids.
Mel has given us several outstanding daughters.
I never thought I'd offer Mel for sale, but the day has come when it's time for Mel to move on.
We simply have too many bucks. He has done a great job
here, and I'm sure he'll do a great job in another herd.
