EXTENDED PEDIGREE

Palimony was purchased from Buttin'Head Dairy Goats in an attempt to bring in new blood into our heavily line bred herd. He is a brown & cream buckskin, carrying black. He is very similar to his dam in many ways. He is line bred on the Creek Road Hudson +S X ARMCH Buttin'Heads Bryedal Veil 2*D genetics that produced his outstanding dam, CH ARMCH Buttin'Heads Wedding Song 3*D E91, who has one of the most impressive show records of any Nigerian Dwarf, having won 6 ADGA Best Doe in Show awards. At six years old, she LA'd at EEEE 91. "Pal" is maturing nicely, and is remaining quite small. He has an exceptional rear leg set, exceptional dairy character, and a strong, tight front end assembly. We're looking forward to the contributions Palimony can make to our herd. We began using Pal when he was only 5 months old, so he had daughters on the ground well before his first birthday. Those daughters here are certainly no disappointment. They have the high, wide escutcheons that we had hoped Palimony would pass along. A bonus that we see in his kids is tight front ends.

UPDATE: We've gotten lots of kids from Palimony now, and with so many bucks here, we have decided to offer Pal FOR SALE.  He has been VERY consistent in producing stylish kids, with excellent rear ends and strong, tight front ends. We're keeping 7 of his daughters (with more does to freshen that are bred to Palimony), and we've placed a couple of sons at a local farm so that we can use those boys in the future. Look below at the "Progeny Retained" section and follow the links to the daughters we are keeping.
I can't help but feel I'm making a mistake by offering him FOR SALE, but with the number of bucks we have here now, we have to make some tough decisions. Our loss can be your gain I guess.
Palimony has matured into a stylish buck. He's still fairly small (around 19"), but quite correct.  He has outstanding rear legs, being very angular when viewed from the side, and very wide when viewed from the rear. His escutcheon height and width CANNOT be beat. He is also very strong in dairy character. Based on what I've seen from him in our herd, I'd say that he would improve rear ends and front ends, and add dairy character to any herd. And, he has an excellent personality (spoiled rotten as a kid), and  he does think he is the center of the universe, and all else revolves around him.
We are offering him at the same price we paid for him.... $1000 firm
