Zenith is a heavily moon spotted buckskin. She comes from strong mammary genetics and heavy milk
production.
We have decided to offer Zenith FOR SALE, priced at
$500. She comes from some of our strongest
production lines, and she has already proven herself to
be a very productive milker. Her mammary system is
strongly attached, with good medial, although I would
like to see her teats more plumb. She is very strong in
dairy character, being sharp, open, and angular
throughout. She also tends to put everything in to milk
production and carries very little excess fleshing. I
would consider her general appearance to be
"fair". While she is quite strong in some
areas, such as rump width and flatness from thurl to
thurl, and a strong front end assembly, she is not as
correct in her strength of feet and legs. She is being
offered as a promising brood doe, with potential for
producing extremely dairy kids. And she also has the
potential for excellent milk production with future
freshenings. As a first freshener, at 3 months fresh,
she is consistently producing about 3.5 pounds of milk
per day. Both her dam and maternal grand dam were 1000+
lb milkers. While Zenith is not currently making record
breaking daily production, she is holding a very level
lactation, which is typical of her maternal lines.
She was a bottle raised kid, so she is very calm and
tame.
